We're off and running on the 2011 AuCaDo Fundraiser Cookbook! For new members, we published a cookbook in 2007 and it was a huge hit. We've been collecting recipes since then, and now have enough to publish a second book. We want to get things rolling now, which will give us plenty of time to get the book complete in time for Christmas shipping.

You can submit recipes here (http://forums.aucado.us/forumdisplay.php?22-ACD-cook-book-recipes). Right now we're at 236 recipes, and we would love to get up into the 301 - 350 range. The more recipes we have, the more money we can raise to help needy ACDs and their rescuers! The recipe threads will close August 1.

Funds raised all go to support ARF, the AuCaDo Rescue Fund (http://www.acdrescuefund.net/).

Thanks! :)

Oh, and I forgot - when you submit a recipe, please make sure you include your name as you would like it to appear in the cookbook - most of us last time just put our first name and our dogs' names. :) If you already have recipes posted, please go back and edit the post(s) to include your name.

Thank you!

I just claimed the Soups thread to type up the recipes. Quick question: Can chili recipes be part of this section? Thanks for coordinating this, Sarah!

Yep, chili is soup as far as I'm concerned. :)

Pretty much what Kristina said!!!! I also want to add that it was because of the last cookbook I found AuCaDo!

 I'll see if the hubby has anything he would want to submit.

Just a reminder that the last day for recipe submissions will be July 31. The last day for photo contest entries is June 30.

Also, we can use more hands and if anyone wants to help out, it's not too late! PM me if interested and I'll add you to the email list. :)

Reminder, less than a month left for submissions for the cookbook photo contest (go here (http://www.aucado.us/forums/showthread.php?26218-2011-AuCaDo-COOKBOOK-Photo-Contest%21%21%21))! And you only have 2 months left to submit your favorite recipes (here (http://forums.aucado.us/forumdisplay.php?22-ACD-cook-book-recipes)), too. Lets see how many recipes we can get together - the more recipes we have, the more money we can raise for needy cattledogs!

Just one more plea for people who have submitted recipes - please let us know how you would like your name to appear in the cookbook. We're getting it assembled now and hope to have it off to the printers very soon, so it's your last chance. A few people in particular - Diz, SuperMel, and badeggsalad - have a lot of recipes and we don't know how you want your signature to appear.

You can pm me or just reply to this thread to let me know. Thanks! :)
