View Full Version : Does anyone know where to find "cool" baby stuff online?

Hopefully this is the proper section to post this as it has nothing to do with ACDs.

My very good friends in England just had their first baby (a boy). I want to send them some things, but I don't see much around here that is different from the usual pink for girls and blue for boys stuff. My friends are in their early 30s and are very interested in music and art, so I was hoping to find some unusual baby items to send them. Does anyone know any online merchants that have "cool" baby stuff? Right now I'm sifting through etsy listings, but there are soooo many things there that it's overwhelming.

I have several baby gift sites that I like bookmarked.
If you haven't figured out what you are getting them yet, you can pee mail me if you want and I can help you brainstorm or at least narrow some things down.

Hey new moms - Sarah & Heidi - what did you receive as baby gifts that you really liked and appreciated?

I found this site when looking for stuff for one of my best friends. I like to get more unusual things for my friends' babies and am all about cool stuff, so it was a big hit:

The favorite thing was the diaper bags that look like bike messenger bags. Both cool Moms and Dads can finally not feel dorky carrying those bags around.

Personally I like cafepress.com.

You can get personalized things there...friend in the navy had a boy in Feb...got him a few onesies along the lines of "My daddy is a US Sailor"

(They also have tees and onsies etc that say "My big brother/sister is a Beagle/German Shephard/Pug etc)
