FINALLY got pics uploaded from our camping weekend over the July 4th holiday. (Dial-up STILL SUCKS...) Anyway, there were too many to post here, but I'll put up a couple of them. The rest are in my album - you may notice a "Lap Dog" theme...

And notice the Alien ACD in this pic:

SOMEONE decided he had to be in my lap EVERY TIME I SAT IN MY CHAIR...

Reading apparently is a spectator sport...

Mealtimes can be difficult with a 50# dog on your lap...

Dawn at Poop Field

Fields to hike...

A nice shady spot

Evening campfire naps

Looks like fun! :) Also, I'm glad I'm not the only person still on dial-up! :s4:

Ei, great photos, and I kept cracking up to see what a WUSS Mr. Allentine Valentine was - did he EVER set one paw on the ground, lol?!? :biggrin2:

Oh Ei, look at you with your Bark magazine and that big blue bear on your lap. We're leading parallel lives (minus the camping part) since I also usually have a big blue wussy bear in my lap.

did he EVER set one paw on the ground, lol?!?

Only to pee. Even tried giving him his very own chair - he would have none of it! It's the lap, or die. :naughty:

those are great photos :) You know I always love seeing pictures of Allen.

He looks to be like quite the spoiled baby - heehee.

I checked out the other photos and you guys have quite the setup! Is one of those TTs yours?

Yes, our camper is a 1985 Prowler, in not too bad shape except that the stove doesn't work, the floor is falling apart, and the shades don't work anymore, but otherwise it's in good shape; my two kids also each have their own campers, so we form a wagon train when we head there, and then "circle the wagons at the encampment". :naughty:

Allentine Valentine is a very quirky, EXTREMELY velcro (as you can see), and lovable cuddle-bear. He is such a sweetheart, and I am still so grateful every day, that you helped him get to me!

Beautiful shots Ei!! TwoLane looks pretty darn contented too!
I often wish I had a lapdog, after losing my Sparky 7 yrs ago but seriously, a 50# lapdog? :roll1:
Thanks so much for sharing your weekend away! I'm just glad to see you out and away from the computer and enjoying some family time. :thumb_yello:

How are your hands? I'm harassing my mother at present. She messages me on FB then I hear nothing for ages. She has phone issues so I can't even get her on the phone. Grrrr
