..... much better than what Mel found in hers!!! (Snakes =). The boys had fun with a grasshopper today that I found while I was mowing the backyard..... I still wonder how the thing managed to stay alive!!!

And our very own Tex - demonstrating some good will-power since Mom told him to "Leave it!" :)

Good boy Tex -- I too have no idea why Mom would want you to leave the grasshopper alone -- you can come to my house because I give Sam a treat for any flies or grasshoppers he catches & you can share in the bounty.

Gorgeous pics Laura! We get a lot of grasshoppers here but I doubt very much that the dogs would let us put one on them, let alone sit still and leave it LOL

Oh, Laura, those photos are CLASSIC! NONE of our pups (except for maybe Pandora) would ever sit still so we could put a grasshopper on them, lol!

I dread to think of what I might find in our yard today....! :naughty:

haha! Great pics! The only creatures Lucy finds in our backyard are skunks. Luckily, she's only found one "up close and personal".

that's a great set of photos, especially of your son, you should frame them all together.

Buela would have left it, but then ate it soon as I released her...as that is what I tell her to do with any bugs inside the house. She had great dun when we first moved into the house and some grass hoppers had hatched in the dining room...imagine 3 month old puppy joy chasing a hundred green grasshoppers. haha

Our Jennie patrols the patio in the evenings for pill bugs. Sniff sniff, crunch crunch.
